For the second consecutive year, the BPMS150 charity bike ride from Houston to Austin was cut short to one day due to bad weather, but that didn’t damper spirits!
Nova Medical Centers Senior Vice President of Physical Therapy, Dr. Trisha Perry PT, DPT, CWcHP, was one of the 11,000 bike riders who rode from Houston to La Grange to support the MS Society during this year’s BPM150. She tells us there were several people along the course who have been impacted by MS cheering them along the way.
After finishing the race Trish posted this on her LinkedIn page:
I want to thank everyone who supported and contributed to the #MS150 it was an amazing experience and hopefully some day we can be riding in celebration of a cure. Thank you to those bravely fighting MS and coming out and cheering us on, it was inspirational and an honor to be riding for you.
The video below shows most of the training rides their team did for this event and different shots of the beautiful scenery they saw along the way. Then the video transitions in to the actual rolling start at Waller for the RIDE. Trisha says, “This was such a memorable experience; I would encourage any of you thinking about doing it to just do it.“
