Why did you decide to become a physical therapist?
My grandfather had a stroke and I use to attend his therapy sessions at Health South; which sparked my interest in physical therapy. I, then, began to shadow a physical therapist and I said to myself, “I want to do this.” I would love to help someone improve their mobility.
What do you like best about working at Nova?
I really love that Nova Medical Centers invests in their therapists and focuses on improving professional development.
Fun fact:
I love the Ultrasound machine!! Some may beg to differ!!
The best advice you were ever given:
I have two bits of advice… 1.) All growth depends upon activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort and effort means work. 2.) What you achieved is not what defines you, its what you have overcome.
