Nova Medical Center is pleased to announce that Tamiko Carter has joined as Center Director for Nova’s Centers in Memphis, TN.
This lifetime Memphis resident received an Associates of Science Degree from Southwest Tennessee Community College. Recently accepted into the nursing program at Baptist College of Health Sciences were she has completed all nursing studies with the exception of clinical. She is also a Certified Medical Assistant.
Mrs. Carter comes to Nova with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. For the last 18 of those years she has successfully parlayed her education and discipline to advance her career from medical assistant, to clinical supervisor then eventually Practice Manager of a busy multi provider practice in the Memphis area.
She will bring her knowledge and weighted experience with medical operation management, nurse management and physician support to the two centers in Memphis
