Chief Human Resources Officer

Mr. Mais is the senior human resources leader for the company and is a key member of the Senior Leadership team. He is responsible for the continuous improvement of the human resources organization and talent management. He is heavily focused on talent acquisition and human capital management. With more than 20 years of progressive human resources experience, Mr. Mais serves as a strategic partner to the executive team, pro-actively developing and driving the human capital strategy for Nova Medical Centers. He is a business savvy change agent with deep and broad experience who builds strong relationships and leverages business and HR expertise to drive results.

Mr. Mais plays a key role in board relations, strategic planning, executive team coaching, financial responsibility, talent acquisition and retention, compensation, employee benefits, and organizational culture. He brings an entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership, outstanding coaching skills, and an exceptional ability to resolve complex issues. Mr Mais holds an MBA and has earned professional certifications from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and a Senior Certified Professional Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
