Nova Medical Centers is pleased to announce its recent membership in the Workers’ Compensation Research Institute (WCRI). WCRI is an independent, not-for-profit research organization that studies workers’ compensation benefit delivery systems nationwide. Members include employers, insurers, managed care organizations, state governmental entities and healthcare providers. Each year WCRI publishes multi-state benchmark reports that provide information that helps policymakers and others focus on ways to improve their system. In addition, WCRI conducts “worker outcomes surveys” that measure key outcomes of injured workers: recovery of physical health and function; return to work and sustainability of return to work; and access to and satisfaction with health care.
