NOVA MEDICAL CENTERS COLLECTS DONATIONS FOR TOYS FOR TOTS CHARITY
December 2017 – Nova Medical Centers, based out of Houston, TX, joins forces with U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program to aid in Toys for Tots’ mission to serve thousands of underprivileged children. From October to December, all 48 Nova Medical Centers, located in Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, and Indiana, were toy drop-sites and collected over 3,500 toys. They are thankful to their clients, patients, and employees for making this toy drive such a success.
As a family-owned and operated company, Nova Medical Centers was honored to work with such a generous organization. CEO Ulf Rohde shared that, “We appreciate the efforts of everyone working together towards this cause of making sure underprivileged children have a nice Christmas. Collecting toys for Toys for Tots is a way for our employees and others to give back, but we couldn’t do it without the support of our customers. We are already looking forward to next year.”
ABOUT TOYS FOR TOTS
The U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program’s mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
